LUMUMBA- afrofusion
The band also known as Lumumba Theatre, performed at the last edition of Sauti za Busara. The group is made up of talented singers, dancers, actors, choreographers and musicians, based in Dar es Salaam. Established in 1997 by Director Dyuto Komba the group is made up of talented students who have come out of Lumumba Primary School, located in the heart of Dar es Salaam. To date the group has performed all over Tanzania and at festivals in Kenya, Uganda, Mozambique, Germany, Denmark, India and Poland. Lumumba is known for their flamboyant high energy and theatrical performances.

AFRIKWETU- afrofusion
Afrikwetu band, former Afrikali Band, was formed in 2003 and reformed in 2010. The eight bands members all come from different parts of Tanzania and were initially in different bands and decided to to join forces to experience and expand their skills. During their days as Afrikali Band, the group performed at festivals around the world including the US and Europe. Afrikwetu´s experience can be fealt and heard when they perform. In their songs they use different languages from various parts of Tanzanian such as Makonde, Nyakyusa, Nyasa, Nyamwezi and Swahili.

MZUNGU KICHAA & ASHIMBA –unplugged
For this edition Mzungu Kichaa will be opening up at THE BEAT with an intimate solo unplugged set featuring the amazing acoustic guitarist Ashimba. Ashimba performed at Mzungu Kichaa´s album launch in Denmark in 2009 and has since released two albums, the second of which has entered the top 20 in the European World Music Charts. Make sure to get to the venue in time to catch this spectacular collaboration (Doors open at 8pm and the first act starts at 9pm)
